An iconic piece of outerwear and a living example of Fjallraven's outdoor heritage, the Women's Greenland Jacket is constructed of highly wind-resistant and water-resistant G-1000 Eco fabric. It certainly has the stylish aesthetics for everyday wear but is also more than tough enough for backcountry use. The jacket's G-1000 Eco fabric, a blend of polyester and cotton, is incredibly durable. It's highly abrasion-resistant, UV-protective, and so tightly woven that it even fends off insects. Its dense weave makes it highly wind-resistant and depending on how much wax is applied, it can be made fully windproof. NOTE that additional Fjallraven Greenland Wax is sold separately and the jacket does require periodic waxing for optimal protective performance. The wax is easy to apply, allows you to customize the level of protection, and even gives each jacket a unique aesthetic over time. Double layers of fabric are applied at the shoulders and elbows to increase durability in high-wear areas. An adjustable hood extends coverage and maximizes protection. Other features include a two-way full-length front zipper with a buttoned protective flap, a drawcord-adjustable hem, and press button sleeve cuff closures. There are two large bellows pockets with buttoned flaps and zippered side entries, buttoned chest pockets, and a small zippered interior pocket.
